A customized strategy of talent cultivation includes a diversified and professional training roadmap and can assist career development. When combined with our group vision、mission and the operational targets of the company, this ensures that each employee can fully achieve their full potential.
Our yearly training plan considers not only the group vision and operational strategy, but also evaluates employee performance and areas for continued growth. Through a comprehensive training system includes new employee orientation、core course、management course、professional course and general course, we look for all employees to continue improving their professional and management skills. This allows every employee to continue growing together with the Sports Gear group, finding an area in which they’re able to utilize their skill set and excel in their role.
Training Plan
The Sports Gear arranges professional training courses for employees across a number different positions and regularly invites consultants and lecturers from a broad area of expertise to overseas facilities to conduct courses on-site.
By attending these training courses led by industry veterans, each employee is able to continuously expand their professional knowledge while also continuing to self-develop. These training sessions also promote cohesiveness and communication between colleagues from different departments.

Guided by CEO Patrick Chen the study circle encourages co-reading and a sharing atmosphere between all colleagues. Through study circle, employees can recommend books and discuss the interesting parts from different angles to each other, not only developing a reading habit and cumulate knowledge, but brainstorming and discussion can also bring colleagues closer an.
The Sports Gear E-paper
The inaugural issue of the Sports Gear Group E-paper was published Sep. 2015. It is provided as an interactive platform for all SPG employees for sharing stories and various team-bonding news.
All SPG employees can author an article on any subject and submit the essay to the editor-in-chief who, after reviewing, publishes it in the Sports Gear Group E-paper. There are many classic articles in recent E-papers such as : senior management sharing their management experience and encouraging the next generation, new comers’ reflection on their first couple of months、recreation activities、tourism photos sharing and sports activities record , etc. Taken as a whole, the stories serve as a great record of our growth journey and joyful daily life. With the many branches and departments in the Sports Gear Group, reading the E-paper is the best way to get first-hand news. E-paper also serves as the main information sharing media and tool to optimize partnership in SPG.
Sports Gear Group E-learning
In addition to inviting professional speakers to hold face-to face training courses, The Sports Gear has also established an online learning platform - “Sports Gear Group E-learning” . Every employee can log-in to the system anytime and anywhere, choosing from various and newly updated online courses to do on-the-job training and self-Improvement.
